CESJHH is committed to supporting research related to neuroscience where it intersects with empathy, compassion, and social justice. Additionally, the Center believes that in order to effectively plan and measure for the positive impact of applying empathy and compassion in the human healthcare industry and workforce, we must start by acknowledging and measuring the presence and impact of the antitheses of empathy and compassion, ie., bias and indifference. More information on research and funding opportunities coming soon.
