I am a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Langone, caring for newborns and  hospitalized children with a strong focus on family-centered communication and evidence-based care. I work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure care is tailored to each child’s and family’s needs, and my scholarly interests span newborn medicine and innovative approaches to undergraduate medical education. As Pediatric Clerkship Director, I am deeply committed to teaching and mentoring future physicians through thoughtful, creative curricula. My dedication to medical education has been recognized with the NYU Grossman School of Medicine UME Clerkship Educator of the Year Award and the 2026 NYU Langone Rising Educator Award.

Kelley Groves, MD

I am a pediatric critical care physician and medical educator with a Master of Arts in Educational Studies, focused on medical education, clinician wellness, and the human experience in high-acuity care. At NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health, I serve as Associate Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, where I created a longitudinal wellness curriculum, developed the health system’s peer supporter training, and mentor residents on career development. In medical student education, I taught Introduction to Clinical Skills, led the pediatrics pre-clinical shadowing dashboard, advised the pediatric interest group, and helped design and launch a PICU elective. I was selected for the Center for Empathy in Medicine Faculty Fellowship (2024–2026), through which I developed an interprofessional curriculum using music to teach empathic communication.
